Background:
Urchfont CE Primary School was founded over 100 years ago but has been in its present building, situated in the beautiful grounds of Urchfont Manor, for 25 years. The school recently launched a 'Millennium Project' which aims to develop the school grounds and extend the school buildings by providing an information technology room. Urchfont retains strong links with the church and local community and pupils annually choose a charity to support. Extra curricular activities include bell ringing, sports, choir and computer clubs. Beacon School since September 1999.
