Background:
Woodford was founded in 1871, and is situated in the picturesque setting of the Avon Valley, roughly five miles from Salisbury. The school recently added a new classroom to the existing hall, two classrooms, two mobile units and library/music room, and has also opened an autistic centre. The grounds include a spacious field, playground, wild area and small garden for reflection. There are a number of extra-curricular clubs designed to enhance and enrich pupils' education and these include running club, craft, environmental club and French club. The school is at the heart of the community, which helps by means of fundraising and classroom support. The school is committed to creating the ethos in which children can grow towards Christian life learning and love.
