Background:

Sheldon School is set in beautiful parklands on the northern edge of Chippenham. It has an outstanding record of academic achievement and provides a rich and wide ranging educational experience for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 18. It is very proud of the excellent facilities available to its students. A very considerable investment in information technology equipment has provided the pupils of the school with four industry standard computer rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The school's arts, design technology and science centres offer superb environments for study. The excellent physical education facilities include a floodlit Astroturf pitch and full-sized sports hall. There is a full range of sporting clubs available, including all of the major sports and other activities such as trampolining and gymnastics. It has many links with the community in north west Wiltshire. The school aims to provide a calm, caring and stimulating environment.
