Background:
Lavington School is a comprehensive school for boys and girls aged 11 to 16 years. Information and communications technology equipment is readily available for use across the curriculum. Three dedicated rooms house in excess of 90 machines and the Art and DT department has its own suite of eight machines. The music department houses its own recording studio and also has state-of-the-art computer equipment for composition and synthesis as well as traditional acoustic instruments. The school aims to promote and maintain a dynamic and challenging environment where everyone is valued and has the opportunity to maximise potential.
