Background:
Situated on the western edge of Chippenham, the school was founded in 1962 under trust deed to the Religious Congregation of the Sisters of the Servants of the Mother God. The buildings are a mixture of nineteenth century to the early sixties styles, with seven classes housed in the spacious self-contained main block, plus a large hall, a converted annexe and a mobile classroom. Sporting activities include water polo, basketball hockey, cricket, tag rugby, badminton, athletics, netball, gymnastics, swimming and football. Other activities are their like archery, street dance, modern dance. The school is not over subscribed. It was awarded the Investors in People award in May 1999. It supports various fund raising events for charity and latest figures show children helped raise #2,300 for good causes in one academic year. There are also strong links with the local community. Vibrant, challenging, caring and fun.
