Background:
All Cannings Church of England Primary School was established in 1833 and occupied a rather draughty Victorian building and terrapin huts on a split site until its new school was purpose-built in 1999. It provides education for boys and girls from four to 11. The school has four classrooms, a group room and a large shared area, which it uses for reading and as a computer suite, a library and hall with collapsible staging, kitchen and offices. It also has a football, athletic pitch and netball court, play equipment, a wild area with a pond and a school garden. The school maintains broad and balanced curriculum. It provide lunchtime and after-school activities. The school provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: netball, football, cricket, rugby, choir, drama, cross-stitch, gardening and computers. The school provide a safe, welcoming environment with equal opportunities for all.
