Headlands Comprehensive School is situated in Swindon, to the north of the town centre. It is an 11-16 community comprehensive school. The school'strives to ensure that the curriculum is responsive to need and accessible to all students. There is a new learning resource centre, which supports students not only during the day but also out of hours. The school has a strong programme of after-school sports activities such as rugby, football, netball, rounders, cross-country running and athletics. It also has an excellent programme for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. This is a school that invests in its people an environment that is safe and secure and aims to ensure that the potential of every student is diagnosed and maximised.
